Our Prints
At Kaus Studio, our prints are more than just designs; they are works of art that tell a story. Each print is meticulously crafted, starting with a hand-painted watercolor creation by our talented co-founder Ana. This process allows us to infuse our garments with a unique blend of creativity, passion, and craftsmanship.
The Inspiration Behind Our Prints
Our prints are inspired by the beauty of nature, the vibrancy of flowers, and the elegance of timeless patterns. Ana’s background in fashion design and her love for art come together to create prints that are both sophisticated and playful. Each design begins as a watercolor painting, capturing the delicate nuances of color and form. This hands-on approach ensures that every print is original and carries a piece of our artistic vision.
Prints with a Personal Touch
Our prints are deeply personal, often inspired by the places we’ve visited, the flowers we’ve admired, and the moments that have touched our hearts. The magnolia flower, for instance, featured in our Ara dress, was one of the first flowers Ana painted after watching a YouTube tutorial. This simple beginning has evolved into a signature element of our brand, representing growth, beauty, and creativity.

“What do I think about when I paint? I just don't think at all. Painting for me is therapy, it's breathing slower and deeper, it's being present and conscious. Painting relaxes me and brings me to the present moment.”
From Watercolor to Fabric
Once the watercolor paintings are complete, they are digitally transferred onto our high-quality fabrics. This process preserves the integrity and detail of the original artwork, allowing the prints to come to life on our garments. We work closely with skilled digital printers to ensure that the colors are vibrant and the details are sharp, making each piece a true wearable masterpiece.
Sustainable and Exclusive
Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do at Kaus Studio. By creating our prints in-house, we can control the production process and minimize waste. We produce limited quantities of each print to avoid overproduction and ensure exclusivity for our customers. This approach not only reduces our environmental footprint but also makes each piece a rare and special addition to your wardrobe.
